| At this time we have two book clubs active in the neighborhood. Club members take turns selecting a book for the club to read during a month, then hosting and leading a discussion about the book at their home. Both clubs are presently at capacity. If you would be interested in being placed on a waiting list please contact the chairperson directly. |

Bunko Groups |

| At this time we have three Bunko groups active in the neighborhood. Bunko is a dice game played in groups with typically eight to twelve members, along with substitutes to fill in for any absences. All groups are presently at capacity. The groups are always in need of substitution members however, and waiting lists to be permanent members in the current groups are also available. Please contact one of the chairpersons if you would like to be a substitution or placed on a waiting list. |

Community & Social Events Committee |

| This club is responsible for organizing any neighborhood-wide events, including the annual Easter Egg Hunt, the Summer Picnic, a Halloween event, and Breakfast with Santa. Please contact either of the chairpersons if you’d be interested in serving on this committee or you have any good ideas to pass along. |

Dining Out Club |

| This club is for those who enjoy an evening out with friends, but don’t want the hassle of cooking. The only requirement for membership is that you agree to “host” an event. This means you select the restaurant, send an email invitation, and arrange reservations. We try to have an event every other month. Restaurant choices are at the host’s discretion - if the choice doesn’t appeal to you, simply don’t attend. Contact a chairperson if you are interested. * Note - all invitations are issued via email only. |

Gourmet Club |

| This club is for those who enjoy a formal dining experience and the fun of preparing a full meal with friends and neighbors. Each couple serves on a host team once during the year. For your host event - you do all the work (along with your team of course). For all other events during the year, you get to sit back and enjoy being a guest. Contact the chairperson to get more information on joining. |

| This club provides an opportunity for the ladies in the neighborhood to get together and visit. If you’d be interested in hosting or co-hosting one of these fun events, please contact the chairperson to arrange a schedule. |

Movie Club |

| This group is an opportunity to go out to the movies with some friends. If nothing good is showing, sometimes the members arrange a dinner instead. Please contact the chairperson to join, or to make a suggestion for the next month's movie. * Note - all notifications are issued via email only. |

Neighborhood Directory |

Each year the HOA prints a bound copy of the River Downs Home Owners Association Neighborhood Directory for distribution to every member. This extremely helpful booklet contains a listing of all residents and properties, phone numbers, and detailed information about our Sponsor Vendors. For a copy of the directory, or to recommend content or help with its assembly, please contact the chairperson. * Note - a significant effort is made to ensure that the website and directory are synchronized. If you are aware of differences in phone numbers, etc. between the two please use the Submit page to notify the HOA. |

Scrapbook Club |

| This club meets once a month at the Francis Scott Key clubhouse to crop. Usually it’s on the last Friday night of the month, but there are some exceptions. Exact dates will be posted. Please contact the chairperson for information about joining. |
